Becoming one with the bowstring, stalking, feeling the thrill of the hunt, aiming and hitting - archery in Lower Austria is an experience for young and old. It offers active relaxation for body, mind and soul.

• Special archery courses and archery tournaments after announcement
• The adventure lasts one round (15 targets) then the equipment is handed in (a second round can be booked for an additional charge of € 12 per person.

If you bring your own equipment, we would like to point out that compound bows and broadheads are not permitted for safety reasons. The maximum draw force is 30 pounds. Children aged 6 and over and young people under 18 are only allowed into the area if accompanied by a paying adult (adult with a maximum of five children/young people). For children under six, we have special children's bows with suction cup arrows available free of charge.

At what age can you do archery?

Are children from the age of six allowed to try archery with us? Until they reach the age of 18, an adult must accompany them through the archery course.

How does archery work?

After a short introduction (approx. 10 minutes) you can go through our course on your own or with a companion. The course consists of 15 stations with some exotic animals but also fantasy animals and a target.

What is the cost of an arrow breaking or total loss?

Arrows broken in the middle or lost cost € 5,-

How long does the course last?

If you take it easy, it will take you about 60-90 minutes. We have 15 targets (animal dummies, targets) in the course.

Do I get rental equipment?

You will be equipped with a long or recurve bow and two arrows (quiver).

Is archery dangerous?

A bow is a piece of sports equipment but of course also a weapon. Our archery guide will explain our safety rules to you and after an introduction you will aim at targets. Once you have mastered archery, our archery guide will clear the course for you.

When will we stop archery?

At dusk. At 6 p.m. at the latest. If the safety regulations are not followed and other guests are endangered.
